Purchase Process

Step 1: The Purchase (Funds are Held)- When a buyer purchases a listing on our marketplace, their card is charged immediately. However, the money does not go directly to the seller. It is held securely inside our master Stripe account to ensure both parties are protected. At this stage, the seller has six days to accept the order. If the seller does not accept the order within six days, the order is cancelled and the buyer will receive a full refund.

Step 2: Coordination and Event Day- The seller prepares the items for the pick-up date. The buyer and seller can use our internal messaging system to coordinate the exact pick-up time, location, and vehicle requirements needed for the transfer.

Step 3: Confirming at the Pick-up Location- When the buyer arrives to pick up the decor, they inspect the items to ensure they match the listing description. Once satisfied, the buyer logs into their account on their phone and clicks "I have received my order" right in front of the seller. This instantly releases the held funds and initiates the payout directly to the seller's bank account.

Automated Safety Net- If a buyer forgets to log in and click the confirmation button after a successful pickup, our system includes an automatic safety net. The transaction will automatically close and release the funds to the seller two days after the seller originally marked the item as available for pick up.
