Frequently Asked Questions

For Buyers

How far in advance can I book decor?

You can browse upcoming listings up to 90 days in advance. Because Next Day Decor is designed for next-day celebrations, decor can only be booked when it falls within the designated booking window for your event.

How does Next Day Decor work?

Browse floral and balloon decor from local events happening the day before yours. When you find something you love, purchase it through the platform and coordinate pickup or delivery directly with the seller.

Why is the decor so much less expensive?

You're purchasing decor that was created for another event and would otherwise have little or no use after that event. Sellers can recoup some of their costs, while buyers get beautiful decor at a fraction of the original price.

When do I pay?

You pay securely through Next Day Decor when you book. Your payment is held until pickup, when you inspect the decor and confirm the successful handoff.

Can I see the decor before I purchase it?

The seller will post photos that represent how the decor will look, but the actual items will not be pictured since they are created just before their event. Buyers should carefully review the listing and ask the seller any questions about the decor before booking.

What if the flowers are wilted or the balloons have changed by pickup?

Flowers and balloons are natural/perishable items and may experience some changes between events. Buyers should inspect the decor at pickup before confirming the handoff.

Who handles pickup or delivery?

Pickup or delivery arrangements are made directly between the buyer and seller and are specified in the listing.

For Sellers

What can I sell?

You can list eligible floral arrangements and balloon installations. Illegal products, alcohol or personal items may not be sold.

When should I list my decor?

You can list up to 90 days in advance of the decor being available. Include clear photos, colors, quantities, dimensions, your event date, pickup details, and any other information that will help another host determine whether your decor is right for their event.

How much does it cost to sell?

Next Day Decor charges a 15% commission on completed sales. This helps support the platform and the tools that make listing, purchasing, payment, and coordinating your transaction simple and secure.

When do I get paid?

Once the buyer picks up the decor and confirms the successful handoff, your funds are released, less the 15% platform commission and applicable processing fees.

What happens if the buyer doesn't show up?

The buyer may be subject to the cancellation and no-show policies outlined in the Terms of Service.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Buyers or sellers can cancel an order within 14 days of the pick-up date, and the buyer's money will be returned minus a 15% commission fee. See the Terms of Service for the applicable policy.

Safety & Trust

Does Next Day Decor own or store the decor?

No. Next Day Decor is a peer-to-peer marketplace. Sellers retain possession of their decor, and Next Day Decor does not own, inspect, transport, or store the physical items.

Does Next Day Decor guarantee the condition of the decor?

No. Floral and balloon decor is subject to natural degradation, and items are sold as-is at the time of handoff.

What happens if there's a problem with my order?

Buyers and sellers should first communicate directly to resolve questions about the quality, quantity, freshness, or appearance of the decor. Next Day Decor does not mediate disputes between buyers and sellers under its current Terms.

What should I bring to pick up?

Bring a vehicle large enough to safely transport the items described in the listing. Buyers are responsible for reviewing the listing's transportation requirements before booking.
